Investing in Justice

Worldwide, Islamic investments are bigger than most of us may realize. As an industry, it exceeds $2 trillion. It’s that big! With the help of experts, AMP’s Investing in Justice webinar, on Thursday, February 25, 2021, explored how and where Islamic investments and human rights intersect, especially in the context of Palestine and other conflict areas in the world.

This educational webinar brought together: Sh. Mustafa Umar, an Islamic jurist; Safeer Mohiuddin, a conscientious investor; Owaiz Dadabhoy of SATURNA Capital; and Joshua Brockwell of AZZAD Asset Management, to explore and understand what makes the industry of Islamic finance “Islamic.”
