What is AMP?
The American Muslims for Palestine is all about educating people about Palestine, its rich cultural and historical heritage and about how the people of Palestine have been living under occupation for decades. We do this for two reasons. First, we want to put a human face on Palestinians so people will come to see we are all alike, with the same hopes, dreams and aspirations.

Second, we believe once Americans know the truth that their tax dollars support the longest-lasting and the last military occupation in modern history they won’t stand for it and will demand that Congress change our foreign policy in the Middle East to one that is more balanced and just for everyone living in the Holy Land.

The official positions of AMP are present in official communiqués coming from the national office in the forms of press releases, action alerts, statements and educational emails, as well as from our designated speakers, which include our national leadership and authorized staff, when they are speaking in the capacity of AMP.
When was AMP formed?
AMP was formed in 2006 by a group of dedicated individuals intent on educating Americans about Palestine. AMP was a strictly volunteer organization until April 2009, when we opened our national office in Palos Heights, IL. We have grown from a volunteer organization to a national organization with several staff and over a dozen chapters in several states.
What is AMP’s mission?
