After last year’s killing of George Floyd and the much-needed national reckoning with racial injustice and white supremacy which has been sparked by his death, AMP decided to better educate itself and its supporters about anti-Black racism, convening a series of powerful monthly webinars entitled #LetsTalkBLM.

Building on this webinar series, Felicia Eaves, AMP's Black-Palestinian Solidarity Coordinator, undertook an oral history project of Black and Palestinian activists and allies to better document the long-standing history of solidarity between the two communities and how they have supported each others’ struggles.

We're so proud to present the series Yalla Y’all: From the Frontlines of Black-Palestinian Solidarity, featuring interviews with Mariam El-Khatib, Prof. Michael Fischbach, Bill Fletcher, Jr., Rev. Graylan Hagler, Lara Kiswani, Prof. Alex Lubin, Rev. Joi Orr, and Sandra Tamari.
