Join us on Saturday, July 17 at 6:30 PM for this in-person event

Jerusalem was a place of complete harmony and peace before the advent of Zionism. It belongs in the collective memory of Muslims, Christians, and Jews. It is dear to all of us. The Zionist settler-colonial movement broke that harmony, and now Palestinians are paying the price.

Israel’s Judaization project is ongoing, and has impacted Palestinian civil society in all of historic Palestine. The Palestinian neighborhood of Silwan in Jerusalem is uniquely significant and plays a pivotal role within Zionist settler-colonial designs. Due to Silwan’s proximity to the Jewish Quarter and the Haram Al-Sharif of the Old City, it is of strategic importance to the Zionist project. The objective is to create contiguity among Jewish settlements controlled primarily by settler organizations in order to perpetuate the Judaization of East Jerusalem and diminish the rising Palestinian population.

On Saturday, July 17th, come to Aqsa School at 7361 W. 92nd St, Bridgeview, IL 60455 from 6:30pm-8:00pm Central Standard Time for this significant event to learn more about Israel’s policy with respect to Jerusalem, its Islamic significance, and the current realities on the ground.
