Tell New York City Council members to cancel funded trip to Israel
ACTION ALERT
SIGN LETTER ASKING COUNCIL MEMBERS TO CANCEL ALL-EXPENSES-PAID TRIP TO ISRAEL BY JAN. 11.
The Zionist organizations, the Jewish Community Relations Council and the United Jewish Appeal, are funding an all-expenses-paid trip to Israel for New York City Council members.
The Jewish Community Relations Council works in conjunction with the Jewish Federation of North America to forward the programs of the Israel Action Network and Israel Advocacy Initiative, both aimed at normalizing Israel's occupation by engaging community leaders with these types of activities.
Please sign this letter by Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015, to lend support to the New York-based Don't Go Coalition, which came together to demand the cancellation of the trip by NYC Council members, led by the City Council President, Melissa Mark-Viverito.
