AMP congratulates Palestinians on unification agreement

The American Muslims for Palestine congratulates the people of Palestine for the unity agreement that was signed by all factions Wednesday in Cairo. We hope this agreement will also bring together all Palestinians for a future of freedom from occupation. AMP applauds the courageous steps taken in Cairo; and we hope it will free Palestinians from occupation and strengthen their political, social and economic institutions. Furthermore, AMP calls upon all factions to abide by the agreed upon unilateral national rights and calls upon the international community to seize this opportunity for peace in Palestine.
