AMP to present several sessions at upcoming Sabeel conference

Dr. Hatem Bazian, AMP chairman, and Kristin Szremski, director of media and communications, will be speaking this weekend at the Sabeel Sacramento conference.

Dr. Bazian will present a lecture on “Islamophobia and Palestine: De-Constructing the Demonitization Industry,” at 1:30 p.m. March 16. Ms. Szremski will be presenting two workshops titled, "Zionist Organizations: Organized Silencing and How it can be Countered," on Friday and Saturday, as well as participating in a Saturday plenary session.

The conference will take place at First United Methodist Church, 21st & J St., Sacramento, Calif. Other speakers include Huwaida Arraf, the Rev. Naim Ateek, the Rev. Don Wagner, Laila El-Haddad, Anna Balzter, Dalit Baum, Josh Ruebner and Rae Abileah, among others.

Dr. Bazian will also be speaking the following weekend at the Sabeel Sunnyvale conference.
