Global Day of Action - Protest Airbnb and Fidelity
The Stolen Homes Campaign, which is demanding Airbnb stop listing rentals in illegal Israeli
settlements built on stolen Palestinian land, is calling for a Day of Action on Friday, June 3 targeting Airbnb's largest investor, Fidelity Investors, to urge them to use their unique position to influence the company.
AMP is a member of the #StolenHomes coalition and since January, the campaign has been demanding Airbnb comply with international law and stop listing homes in illegal Israeli settlements in violation of international law.
More than 150,000 people have signed our petition demanding Airbnb drop settlement properties from its vacation rental listings.
Last month, the UN announced that it will establish a database of all companies implicated in Israel’s illegal settlement enterprise. Unless Airbnb terminates their involvement now, it will be included in the database. The first draft of the database will be soon be released so now is the best time to expose Airbnb for profiting off stolen land!
We need your help on June 3, national day of action!
Petition deliveries, protests and other actions are taking place in Chicago, Washington DC, Boston, Santa Monica, Los Angeles, the San Francisco Bay area and other cities around the globe.
