MEDIA ADVISORY: Muslim, Arab-American, Interfaith Groups to Respond to Trump's Declaration on Jerusalem

(WASHINGTON, D.C., 12/5/17) -- On Wednesday, December 6, American Muslims for Palestine, the leading Muslim organization focused on Palestine in the U.S., will hold a press conference in front of the White House following President Trump's news conference in which he is expected to officially state his decision to move the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem and recognize it as the capital of Israel. 

American Muslims for Palestine has already demanded that Trump reconsider his decision, and warned that this hasty move—a reversal of decades of U.S. foreign policy—would harm America’s role the Mideast peace process.
