PROJECT OVERVIEW
Aqsa Club is an after-school program aimed at educating high-school students about Palestine, it’s history, and current affairs. This club will give the students the necessary tools and information needed to go out and become advocates for the just cause of Palestine.
AMP will provide the resources needed to get this club running at your school. Some of the projects we have developed are:
PALESTINE 101 Program
Concentrates on both academic empowerment and training on the history of Palestine and current affairs.
Cultural Competency Training
Provides cultural sensitivity training for social service agencies, schools, community groups, health care providers, faith-based organizations, and more. Focuses on cultural enrichment activities.
Cultural Programs & Events
Monthly and annual events featuring guest speakers, films, theatrical performances, and art exhibits. All designed to highlight the diverse forms of Palestinian cultural expression.
